Our Five-Stage Pathway
We do more than respond to immediate hardship.
Through one connected pathway, we bring together emergency support, emotional wellbeing, employment, enterprise and community action, helping people make lasting progress towards stability, independence and contribution.
Meeting immediate needs.
Emergency food, hot meals, hardship assistance, advocacy and practical support when people need it most.
Helping life become more manageable.
Counselling, pastoral care, addictions support, refugee support and practical guidance to improve wellbeing and stability.
Building confidence and capability.
Personal development, employment coaching, CV support, interview preparation, skills development and mentoring.
Creating routes towards economic independence.
Employment, career progression, training, enterprise and business start-up support through our Employment Service and Prosperity Hub.
Turning progress into community strength.
Volunteering, mentoring, neighbourhood action, leadership and opportunities to help others move forward.
SUPPORT → STABILISE → STRENGTHEN → PROSPER → CONTRIBUTE

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?
One Front Door. The Right Next Step.
You do not need to know which programme you need.
Tell us what you are facing. Our team will listen without judgement, understand your circumstances and help you identify the right next step.
That may mean support from one programme, several forms of help, or a connection to another organisation better placed to support you.
One person. One conversation. One next meaningful step.

REAL STORIES OF CHANGE
From Food Support to Full-Time Work
SUPPORT → STABILISE → STRENGTHEN → PROSPER → CONTRIBUTE
“I came to the Foundation when I couldn’t afford food and was struggling with severe anxiety. They helped with food immediately, but they didn’t stop there. I received counselling and regular support with my job applications. Today I am working full-time, supporting myself and giving back through volunteering.”
— Adam, Nelson
Every person’s journey is different.
Our role is to help people identify and take their next meaningful step.

WORKING TOGETHER
Lasting Change Requires Partnership
We are building a strategic partnership ecosystem that brings together businesses, professional expertise, local government and community organisations. By combining resources, infrastructure and opportunities around our five-stage pathway, we are creating a stronger system for helping people move from hardship towards stability, employment, enterprise and long-term contribution.
Together, we can build stronger pathways from hardship towards independence.

HELP BUILD A STRONGER COMMUNITY
